coffee & Cacao

A living farm in the heart of Antioquia
Nestled in the mountains of Santa Bárbara, Finca Amorango is more than a retreat — it is a working farm tended with passion, patience, and deep respect for the land. Here, every cup of coffee and every cacao pod carries the story of the soil, the altitude, and the hands that cultivated it.
We grow, harvest, and process our own specialty coffee and cacao entirely on-site, inviting you to witness and experience every step of the journey.

CACAO
Cacao is the newest and most exciting chapter in the Finca Amorango story.
Planted in 2024, our 800–900 young cacao trees are now beginning to bear fruit — launching us on a journey towards artisan chocolate production rooted entirely in our own land.
Fine cacao cultivation demands patience, knowledge, and care. We are learning, growing, and experimenting — and we love sharing this evolving story with our guests. A cacao tour at Finca Amorango is not a polished presentation; it is a genuine encounter with a crop in its infancy, guided by passion and curiosity.
Join us as we walk through the plantation, learn about the varieties we have planted, discover how cacao is harvested and processed, and hear our vision for future artisan chocolate — made entirely from our own estate-grown beans.
CACAO CerEmonY
Slow down. Breathe. Taste.
A moment of stillness, warmth, and connection — guided by the most ancient superfood of the Americas, grown right here on our land.
At Finca Amorango, we invite you to step away from the noise of everyday life and into something beautifully simple. Our cacao ceremony is a gentle, nourishing ritual — a space to pause, reconnect with yourself, and experience the magic of pure ceremonial cacao in its most honest form.
And what makes our ceremony truly special? The cacao you drink was grown right here, on this very land, by our own hands.
The Experience
Hosted by our team in the natural surroundings of the finca, each ceremony unfolds at a gentle pace — no rush, no agenda. Just you, the cacao, and the sounds of the Colombian mountains.
Preparation & Tasting Watch as we prepare ceremonial-grade cacao the traditional way — ground, blended with warm water or milk, and enriched with natural spices. You will taste the difference immediately: rich, earthy, deeply complex, and nothing like anything from a supermarket shelf.
This is cacao in its purest, most powerful form.
Intention & Meditation Before the first sip, we take a quiet moment together — to set an intention, to breathe, and to arrive fully in the present. The natural theobromine in cacao gently opens the heart and sharpens the senses, making this a perfect companion for mindful reflection.
Music & Sound Soft, carefully chosen music accompanies the ceremony — creating an atmosphere of warmth, calm, and gentle joy. Let the sounds of the finca and the music carry you.
